We've taking our incredibly responsive "dual element system"
and
applied it to our piano pickup to give you unsurpassed response and faithful, natural
sound quality.
What our "dual element
system" means: Each transducer unit
contains 2 separate piezos working in tandem to enhance sound quality and reduce the
possibility of feedback.
The P2 Pickup
System has been designed to work with either upright or grand pianos.
The
sensors mount quickly and easily to the exterior of the soundboard
surface with supplied double sided tape. Each
transducer is prewired to a 10 foot shielded Mogami cable with a quality 1/4" plug
for stereo configurations. For Mono applications, a 1/4" 'Y' adapter is included.
This pickup has been
designed to operate properly and sound terrific without the use of a preamp
when plugged into any 'normal' amp (guitar amp, bass amp, etc.).
If you require the added ability to be able to
plug directly into a P.A. or mixer then you may wish to add one of
our outboard Preamp/DI units to your
pickup system.
Each pickup is hand
built and tested in our workshop to ensure good
sound. As well, each pickup is warranted for a period of two years
from date of purchase to the original purchaser.
