Music Corporation To Distribute Schatten Pickups In Italy - October 1st.

We are pleased to announce that effective October 1st, 2007, Music Corporation of Italy will be distributing Schatten Pickups throughout Italy. We wish to welcome Corrado Paonessa  and the Music Corporation to the growing number of Schatten distributors.

     Effective September 1st, 2007, Schatten Design is pleased to announce that Fred's Guitar Parts, Toulouse France will become the official distributor of Schatten Pickups for France.

     Fred's Guitar Parts, founded in 1996 by Fred Garcia is a well known distributor of specialized guitar parts and fine handmade instruments. Fred's prides itself in working closely with many luthiers, repair shops and guitar shops and looks forward to supplying their customers with fine Schatten products.

New Distributor Named For Australia - EGM Distribution

Kitchener, Ontario, May 30, 2007

     Schatten Design is pleased to welcome  EGM Distribution, Melbourne Australia as our exclusive distributor in Australia for Schatten Pickups.

     EGM was established in 2002 by two veterans of the Australian Music scene, Marcello Grassi and Peter Shillito. Their backgrounds are extensive in guitars, amplifiers and related accessories, with both principals having worked in the Australian  musical instrument industry at wholesale and retail levels for more than 20 years. National Sales Manager John Brownrigg is a confessed acoustic instrument nutter with a passion for tone and the pickups that best deliver it.  These guys really know their pickups!

     John was the national sales manager at AMS for many years, Marcello was with AMI, and Peter was the national sales manager for CMI as well as being a founding Partner in Australia's Raven Records.

   Outback Acoustics To Distribute Schatten Pickups In The Netherlands

      Outback Acoustics has been appointed  as Schatten Design's exclusive distributor of Schatten Pickups for the Netherlands.

     Established in 2001 by Victor Ruhrup and Arjen van Mels, Outback Acoustics has grown from a guitar building hobby to a full scale business. Offering instrument building courses as well as fine European built instruments and related musical accessories, Victor and Arjen have added Schatten pickups to satisfy the growing demand for acoustic instrument amplification.
