We produce some of the world's finest
piezo transducer pickups in a small
workshop with just a handful of skilled
pickup builders. Each pickup is
carefully handcrafted to our exacting
standards and each one is tested
individually to make sure that it is as
perfect as we can make it.
Our goal is to provide great sounding
pickups. It is not easy or simple to
build transducers that are 'transparent'
in their sound quality.....pickups that
allow the true sound of the instrument to
come through.
You will notice that all of our pickups
are purpose built for each instrument. The
only exceptions to this are the "Dualie"
and the VVM series of pickups. The Dualie,
originally designed for guitar soundboard
use, it has proven to be a fabulous pickup
for other instruments as well such as
uke, dulcimer, prima, sitar, and
kalimba.......to name just a few. The VVM
was designed to operate properly on all
three instruments: violin, viola and
mandolin.
